DMS recently retrofitted the signs at Stained Glass Pub in Elkridge to LEDs. This is a great way to increase the longevity of the illuminated sign as well as save money in the long run!
Historically a lot of signs are made with fluorescent lamps. Fluorescent lamps generally last about a year depending on usage, and they also consume a lot of electricity. LED’s can last up to 10 years, and use a fraction of the cost of fluorescent lamps so you save on future service, and you also save on electricity during that time.
